John and Lexie met in middle school, long before either of them could have imagined that they were meeting the person that they would one day marry.

Their love story didn’t exactly begin like a fairytale. In fact, it started with a competitive dodgeball game with a dodgeball to the face in gym class. Somehow, John thought this was the best way to get Lexie’s attention - and ask her out - by hitting her in the face with a dodgeball… Not exactly the most romantic first move, but somehow, it worked. PS: Lex won the dodgeball game!

From those early middle school days, they have grown up side by side. They have gone from awkward middle schoolers, to teenagers and eventually into the adults they are today. Through all the changes, growing pains, laughter, and memories, they’ve always had each other. They have watched each other grow, supported each other through every chapter, and created a lifetime of memories along the way. They have not only grown up together, but more importantly, they have grown together.

What started in middle school has become a love story spanning many years and now, after everything they’ve shared; they are finally getting married!

Looking back, it’s hard to believe that a dodgeball game and two kids in middle school would lead us all here but somehow, that little beginning became the greatest adventure of their lives.

And now they get to spend forever together!
